The feud between The Bloodline and Jey Uso has had fans on the edge since Jey betrayed Roman Reigns in June. The feud reached a fever pitch when Jimmy betrayed Jey at SummerSlam. However, according to reports, disappointing news lies ahead for WWE fans who want to see how the story will progress.
There have been new developments since Jey quit The Bloodline, SmackDown, and the WWE. With WWE removing him from the online roster, fans don’t know what to think about the future of The Bloodline saga.

The last episode of WWE SmackDown ended on a high note. Jey confronted the Tribal Chief along with his brother Jimmy and Solo Sikoa. After a heated back and forth between Jey and the WWE Universal Champion, Jey ended it with a superkick. After taking out Sikoa as well, he superkicked his brother. Jey, looking at the camera, announced that he was leaving The Bloodline, SmackDown, and the WWE that night.
This naturally excited fans as he could triumphantly return to take on Reigns at any moment. However, since that episode of SmackDown aired, new developments have been brought to light. According to PWInsider, the story will not progress in Toronto. This is because neither the Usos nor Solo Sikoa will be available during the taping for this week’s SmackDown. Furthermore, Reigns was never slated for the next episode of SmackDown.
PWInsider: The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) and their brother Solo Sikoa will not be at next week’s Smackdown (August 18th) in Toronto. Roman Reigns was also not slated to be there next week. This means there is a high possibility of none of The Bloodline members showing up during the upcoming episode of SmackDown. Pre-recorded segments will probably be shown during the show, but according to the insiders, there will be little to no progression of the storyline.
Since Jey announced he’s quitting the WWE, actions have been taken to ensure fans know he’s out. He has been removed from the online roster and kept in the alumni section of WWE’s website. This section is for wrestlers who are no longer part of the company. Talking about wrestlers no longer with the company, Rikishi may have dropped a spoiler for the upcoming Payback PPV event.

Hall of Famer and the Uso father Rikishi took to social media to cause an unintentional stir recently. The post he shared announced that Rikishi would be a referee at Payback. This immediately sent shockwaves through the community, with fans speculating it could be a Bloodline vs Jey match. It could also be a match with Jey in one corner and Jimmy, Reigns, or Sikoa in the other.

Rikishi deleted the post and commented that it was a “Wrong promoter mistake.” It may have been an honest mistake or a done to build hype around the PPV event. Getting Rikishi involved in the feud is something that fans have already predicted. Since the blunder on social media, fan speculation has been that Rikishi will referee a match between Jimmy and Jey. In cases like this, who better than the father to end a sibling feud?
