The NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio is currently enjoying the run of his life. While being backed up by The Judgment Day and Mami Rhea Ripley, Mysterio has been able to fend off any opponent that stood in his way.

However, after being with Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali in a controversial fashion at The Great American Bash 2023, Dominik Mysterio might have his next challenge ready in the form of something he has never faced before. Recently, compared to Christian Bale’s iconic Batman, this challenger might put forward the toughest challenge yet for Dominik Mysterio.

On the July 21st episode of WWE SmackDown, ‘Dirty’ Dom faced his potential upcoming challenge in Dragon Lee. However, things would end in a confrontation there, and not escalate anywhere. However, during the Great American Bash, Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley would again confront Dragon Lee, and bury him with their words.

Ripley would mock Lee for being a knock-off version of the legend Rey Mysterio. However, Dragon Lee would revert back by stating that it is his honor to be compared to Rey Mysterio. ‘Dirty’ Dom would later jump in, and criticize his father, and uplift himself.

Soon enough, WWE would upload the segment on Twitter and Rhea Ripley would take things into her own hands. She would share the segment, and compare Dragon Lee with Christian Bale’s iconic Batman, but this time in a humiliating manner. One of Batman’s greatest strengths was his anonymity. However, while comparing Lee with Batman, Ripley stated, “I know who you are… Batman.”

She would effectively mock both Dragon Lee and Batman in the process. However, Dominik Mysterio would show his heel game level by jumping back with another major humiliation. He said, “Not cool enough to be Batman.”

With things now getting heated up between Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, and Dragon Lee, are two are bound to face each other for the title in the near future. As the next potential challenger for ‘Dom-Dom’, Lee might be the biggest threat the 26-year-old prison-toughened kid has ever faced.

One of the most hated WWE superstars in the current era, Mysterio recently cemented his position as a lifelong heel in the promotion. The 26-year-old recently got himself a new ink on his neck. With the words ‘Villano’ inked on his neck, Mysterio positioned himself as a permanent heel.

Despite a future babyface turn, the words would still be written on his neck, reminding him of his past, and alliance with The Judgment Day. Currently, on a roll, Dominik Mysterio has been successful in retaining the Mysterio name.
