In terms of popularity, Dwayne Johnson and Conor McGregor are two at the top level. Both require no introduction since they are legendary superstars in their respective fields. While The Notorious made a name as the UFC champion, the former WWE champion also conquered Hollywood. However, it would have been an absolute fantasy to witness the two greatest face-offs in a fight.

Thanks to his extensive wrestling history and current status as an action movie star, The Rock is familiar with the discipline. Notably, he demonstrated he is not only an outstanding wrestler but also an excellent promoter, much like her grandmother Lia Maivia, who was the first female pro wrestling promoter.
Dwayne Johnson has shown his prowess as a promoter
In a 2018 conversation with Kiss FM UK, DJ was asked who he believed would win in an octagon match between him and McGregor. The Rock said, “Well, he is a showman. I’m a showman as well. Given The Great One’s response, it is clear how great of a promoter The Rock could be, as he is aware that with the two greatest names on the match card, both ticket sales and viewership will skyrocket and it would indeed generate millions.
Therefore, he won’t be content with only one match and will advance the plot to build a second one. Not to forget that The Rock isn’t only a movie star or a WWE superstar; he also makes a ton of money from his business endeavors, which helped him build up his multi-million dollar net worth. Therefore, he greatly understands how things will grow and how to maximize his profits.
