The style and methods of play for pro wrestling have changed significantly over time, much like other sports whose styles have changed significantly. And the WWE has several superstars, such as The Undertaker, who are really skilled wrestlers and have significantly changed how wrestling is done.
There’s no doubt that if you stay in a sector for 30 years, you will have an influence, and Taker has changed the industry since he began his career. The Deadman was a mixed martial arts enthusiast before entering the wrestling industry. It thus pushed him to implement a big change in the business.

Taker was a longtime fan of mixed martial arts and was well known in the WWE sphere. Parallel to that, in an interview with Sean Oliver, Brian Myers discussed Taker’s passion for mixed martial arts and how it led to a huge WWE transformation.
He stated, “I actually think his like fandom of MMA has really helped the performance side. Because if you go back and watch like 80s stuff. You know, guys getting punched in the face and he literally likes this, just getting hit. Whereas now, there’s like the Taker’s style. Where it’s a bit more believable like you work together. You’re still getting hit, but at least you look like defending yourself.”

As per Myers, even though many people know that WWE wrestlers behave in a scripted approach, if the wrestler doesn’t show any intent to fight a bout and follows the script, it will make the business look even more false. But once Taker introduced the MMA way of defending, things shifted and the industry prospered.

The Undertaker contributed significantly in several ways. Including his frightful demeanor, which he never maintained during his 30-year career and deceived people into thinking represented him in real life. His involvement in every plot thread further increased the legitimacy of his persona.
Additionally, the success of the WWE may be attributed to stars like The Undertaker, who worked in the industry for three decades. Notably, he sacrificed most of his 30 years with the organization to appear mysterious to the fans and hide his true character. He did, in fact, have the most impact on the company.
