Taking to X, Johnson penned a long, emotional post. Starting the post, Johnson said, “Sometimes I just miss my dad.” He continued the post by talking about Isaiah. A young fan in need with a father who reminded the Hollywood star about his dad. He even mentioned that when he met Isaiah’s dad, Ricardo, he immediately thought of his own father. Listing down the similarities between the two, The Rock said that his father would do anything to take care of his family. Despite having a tumultuous relationship with his dad, Johnson has never missed an opportunity to praise the legend to the high heavens.

“My dad even opened up a cleaning service, just like Isaiah’s dad,” The Rock mentioned in the post. The video showed Ricardo was a huge Rock fan with a Brahma Bull tattoo. As the video and post continued, Johnson revealed that he gave his own personal truck to the father and son, who were going through some hard times. Taking this act of sheer selflessness one step further, he even gave them $100,000, as Ricardo mentioned in the video. Near the end of the post, Johnson said, “I think in a way, this moment with Ricardo felt like my dad was still here with me, and I could make him happy.”
This was an instance where Johnson dropped the Final Boss gimmick to do something that would not only touch the hearts of fans but also change people’s lives.
