Mickie James has always been a supporter of women in wrestling. And now, Stephanie McMahon has become the interim CEO and chairperson of WWE. This comes after Vince McMahon stepped down from the position during the investigation. This is the first time in decades that the head of the company has come down from his throne.

Earlier this year, Mickie James made a historic appearance at the Royal Rumble as the Impact Knockout’s Champion. She became the first woman to appear at a WWE event while being signed to Impact Wrestling. Currently, Mickie is having a renaissance with her run as the Impact Knockout Champion and feuding with some of the best women’s wrestlers in the wrestling industry today.
Stephanie McMahon’s eventful career
Stephanie McMahon first jumped to the scene when Vince McMahon started feuding with the WWE roster. Her first appearance in front of the WWE universe was when The Undertaker abducted her for a black wedding. Then her big appearance came as marrying Triple H and taking over a higher position the company.

Over the years, she has appeared as an authority figure in the company. She was also the head of the ‘Authority’, the heel faction destined to make Seth Rollins, the biggest superstar. She was part of the iconic storyline with Daniel Bryan as well as she featured in Ronda Rousey’s first match pairing up with real-life husband Triple H.
