Mick Foley and Triple H had a blood-filled match at No Way Out 2000. It came after their clash at Royal Rumble in a Street Fight Match.

Foley portrayed Cactus Jack, and did everything in his power to portray Triple H the bigger man. In fact, it reached a point where he agreed to be smashed through the top of the steel cage for the match to gain momentum.

The buildup to the match was as good as the match itself. The fans united to watch it considering the stipulation was if Foley lost, he would need to stay out of WWE.

According to Mick Foley, this was the best send off anyone could have. In fact, he regrets not staying retired, considering there wasn’t a moment which could have lived up to what Triple H and he created at No Way Out 2000.

He did make a return, and his last match was at Royal Rumble 2012 where he entered the Royal Rumble match as a surprise entrant.

Triple H is yet to retire from WWE

The Game isn’t actively working with WWE, but he is still under contract. His last match was back in 2019 during WWE’s Japan Tour.

He teamed up with Shinsuke Nakamura to take on Robert Roode and Samoa Joe. Prior to that, he took on Batista in a winning effort at WrestleMania 35.

Currently, Triple H is yet to come back to WWE. He took a break from WWE backstage after suffering a cardiac arrest. Even though he has been on the path to recovery, he’s not returned to run WWE NXT.

Even if doesn’t want to return to WWE, he may never start working with another pro-wrestling promotion. It could be a while before he completely quits the family business, but choosing another promotion to work with will disrupt the family altogether.
