The women in today’s pro-wrestling industry are reaping the benefits of what their previous generations accomplished. For a long time in wrestling, female superstars were hired because of their looks and mystique. However, superstars like Lita, Michelle McCool, Trish Stratus, and many others changed the scenario forever.

Speaking of Michelle McCool, things changed for her when she started dating The Undertaker. Everyone started viewing her differently, and she was more known as his girlfriend than the WWE Legend she is. But, her accomplishments are never forgotten!

Unfortunately, she didn’t win the contest, but WWE offered McCool a contract. Soon afterward, she made her TV appearance for the company. She started out on SmackDown with the gimmick of a personal trainer, where she helped wrestlers with various stretches.

In 2008, WWE started to push McCool when she won an opportunity to fight against Natalya at The Great American Bash PPV. She defeated Natalya to become the inaugural WWE Divas Champion.

After losing the Divas Championship, McCool soon became a heel and got the first taste of the WWE Women’s Championship when she defeated Melina in 2009.

McCool won the Divas championship one more time and became a WWE co-women’s champion with Layla. However, things were not always green backstage, and eventually, McCool left the WWE in 2011.

She wasn’t devastated over leaving the company, as she always wanted to be a mom and start her family with The Undertaker.

The Undertaker and Michelle McCool went through a difficult phrase before getting pregnant

Michelle McCool and The Undertaker have had their own struggles during their professional in-ring WWE careers. However, after getting married, they went through a struggle together, which highlighted how tough Michelle McCool actually is.

Michelle McCool had a conversation on Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia about the hardships she went through when the couple decided to have children.

“I did have to do IVF with Kaia and realize that my AMH, anti-müllerian hormone, is pretty much non-existent. Meaning I don’t produce many eggs. The quality is fine, but the quantity is not there. So even with IVF, I only produced two eggs. We transferred both of them and I got pregnant with Kaia, happy, healthy, successful. So, I thought ‘oh, it’s not that bad. Like shots don’t bother me, the process is easy’. Well, totally not so. I love my life. I love being a mom.”

The WWE Legend wanted to expand her family further. As a result, she had to go through the process all over again, and this time, it affected her physically and emotionally.

“We start trying to get pregnant again. When she was seven months old, eight months old. Oh gosh, from then I’ve done 13 rounds of IVF. Yeah, started when she was seven months to 13 rounds. Three miscarriages.” (H/t Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia)

However, the fierce woman fought through and ensured that she continues to be the best mother to Kaia. She coached her softball team and helped the team improve their game.
