After months of speculation, Sasha Banks seems to have picked a side when she made her AEW debut at the Big Business PPV. However, the rumors of her returning to WWE have still not completely ended. This is probably because of the ties she still has with the wrestlers who currently work at the Stamford-based company.
These rumors suggest that Mercedes Mone could end up leaving Tony Khan‘s promotion if she gets the desired package over at the Stamford-based company. But a wrestling industry veteran urges Banks to stay at her current workplace and give it a chance.

Dutch Mantell shed light on the current situation with The Boss and AEW on the latest episode of his podcast Story Time With Dutch Mantell. In a small clip posted on his YouTube account, the former pro wrestler can be seen talking about the rumors of Banks possibly looking forward to joining WWE.
This is when Mantell took Tony Khan’s side and said, “If I was Tony Khan I would say wait a minute you just got here. Stop talking about WWE. My God give us a chance, give yourself a chance why don’t you try it on here and see if it fits.”
Mantell believes that The CEO has already earned enough during her WWE run and her Japan indie run. This means that she might want to join WWE just because she is already ‘over’ in that company. However, Mantell wants Banks to give Tony Khan’s promotion a chance since he gave her a job and an income.
In the same podcast episode, he also guessed the amount that Sasha Banks could be receiving from Tony Khan as part of their new deal. This is when Mantell revealed his thoughts about her.

Sasha Banks gets called out for ‘Hollywood treatment’
While talking about the paycheck she could have been offered at AEW, the co-host of the podcast revealed that Banks reportedly had demanded around a hundred grand when she was in Japan. Staying stuck on her deal, she eventually received the desired amount. So, when she returned to the US, the possibility remains that she either asked for the same amount, or increased it.
This is probably why Mone didn’t go to WWE, because they didn’t offer the same amount. However, Tony Khan might have accepted the deal because of Sasha Banks star power and appeal to mainstream wrestling fans.
