It has been almost seven months now that Sasha Banks (aka Mercedes Mone) has been away from in-ring action. After sustaining an ankle injury at NJPW Resurgence, she kept herself away, and social media started buzzing for her WWE return. However, her decision to choose her future employers has taken up quite some time. After Aaron Varble’s report from SEScoops, it was believed that there were very few chances for her to return to the old company. However, her recent Instagram story gave us a glimpse of a confusing scenario.

Is Sasha Banks still hinting at a WWE return?

The former WWE women’s champion has recently shared an Instagram story. Her story certainly shows why hints have been a crucial factor to be considered before anticipating the return of a wrestler. Banks shared a glimpse of her NXT debut. Well, it was when she was not recognized as the boss.

This could be an inkling of her WWE return. Remember how the same scenario existed before CM Punk came back to the WWE? Amidst a plethora of anticipation, there was some news that his return was merely speculation and not in the plans of WWE. Well, the Stamford-based promotion is notorious for turning the tables, so Sasha Banks’s return could still be on the horizon.

Why did Sasha Banks leave WWE?

Sasha Banks became the talk of the town last year after she walked out of the WWE arena before her match on Raw. Moreover, she was also accompanied by Naomi, who is now wrestling in Impact Wrestling. Later, WWE revealed that both entered the previous Head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis’s office, set their titles on his desk and then left.

Well, this seems to be an incomplete reason, and other reports suggest that there was a different reason that triggered their action. Well, it was also reported that both had some creative differences with the company, due to which they left the Stamford-based promotion. On top of that, it was believed that banks could return after Triple H took over the creative duties, but even after the inclusion of Triple H, she didn’t return. Now all eyes will be on the day she recovers from that ankle injury.
