Meet the Makeup Maestro and Hair Virtuoso Behind Rhea Ripley’s Striking Look at Survivor Series WarGames

Ripley has always stayed consistent with her look and style with subtle changes to her makeup and hair. But who is responsible for her consistent yet ever-refreshing look?

At WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, she defended her WWE Women’s Championship and looked good doing so.

Meet Rhea Ripley’s makeup and hair stylist for WarGames

At WarGames, 2023, Ripley showcased a new hairstyle and makeup for the special occasion. She was defending her title against Zoey Stark, and she wanted to look good doing so.

Her normal short hair was styled into what looked like a mullet. She had her normal black makeup, but it was styled into something eye-catching. Here are the makeup and hair stylists who helped her get this look.

Jet Emini is the makeup artist for WWE stars. She has worked on multiple WWE women like Ripley, Samantha Irvin, Zelina Vega, and many more. She kept Ripley’s iconic goth makeup with streaks coming off her eyes and lips. The style was similar to that of Ripley’s Crown Jewel look.

Jackie Stakel was behind Ripley’s hairstyle at WarGames. The hairstylist was able to take Ripley’s short hair and turn it into something no one had seen before. With the two talented women combined, Ripley looked stunning yet intimidating during her match. There has however, another aspect of Ripley’s look at WarGames which had a lot to do with a WWE legend.

Ripley’s attire at WarGames was a nod to Shawn Michaels

However, Ripley’s hair and makeup weren’t the only new aspects of her look showcased at WarGames. When Ripley walked out to the ring at WarGames, fans were shocked by her look.

Many took to social media to claim that her attire was a nod to a legend of the WWE, Shawn Michaels. They claimed it was a mix of Michaels and the late Sensational Sherri.

This would not be the first time Ripley made a tribute to her idols using her attire. She paid tribute to WWE legend and icon Chyna at Payback 2023. These are the subtle ways Ripley shows her love and respect for those who came before and inspired her journey in WWE.
