In recent times, we have seen several celebrities making it inside the squared circle in WWE. Popular celebrities like Logan Paul and Johnny Knoxville took part in matches at this year’s WrestleMania.

Matthew McConaughey is another popular celebrity who might make his WWE debut next year. This is because WWE Raw superstar Kevin Owens has issued a challenge to the Hollywood star recently.

Kevin Owens had one of the biggest moments of his career at WrestleMania 38. On Night One of WrestleMania 38, Owens competed in a match against Stone Cold Steve Austin.

His match at WrestleMania 38 was not only special for Steve Austin but also for Kevin Owens.

This is because Kevin Owens had looked up to Steve Austin in his childhood, and getting to share the ring with one of his idols would have surely meant a lot to Owens.

Though there are still talks about his match against Austin, the WWE Raw superstar has already teased a match against Hollywood superstar Matthew McConaughey.

Matthew McConaughey has previously attended a WWE show. But Owens could not meet him back then. But after sending out a challenge to the Hollywood actor, he might get to meet the actor in the ring this time.

During an episode of WWE After the Bell with Corey Graves, Kevin Owens said, “A few years ago Matthew McConaughey came to a show and he was backstage. I remember, not long after that, he talked about how he would love to do something in WWE.”

He added, “I don’t know him at all. But to me, he seems like the kind of guy who would be coming in to do it right and have a blast. So yeah, if we are speaking of things into existence, WrestleMania 39, come at me McConaughey, I’m gonna f*** you up!”

The Hollywood superstar can certainly take his time to prepare himself for the fight if he accepts Kevin Owens’ challenge for a match at next year’s WrestleMania.

Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38

After Owens challenged Austin for a No Holds Barred Match on Night One of WrestleMania 38, Austin agreed to it.

Nobody saw this coming, and everybody was shocked. But fans were also delighted to see Steve Austin back in action. The Texas Rattlesnake punished Owens almost throughout the match.

But there came a moment in the ending stages when Kevin Owens delivered a Stunner to Steve Austin. But much to Owens’ surprise, the WWE Hall of Famer did not give up.

Soon after that, the WWE Raw superstar missed a chair shot. Austin then hit Kevin Owens with a Stunner to pick up the victory.
