So far, Uncle Howdy has gradually appeared, especially manifesting through QR codes. With which it hints at the formation of a group. WWE has used various tactics, from cryptic messages to QR code videos, to provoke fans and create anticipation for the Howdy faction. However, despite the interest, so far neither Howdy nor his supposed group have made a televised appearance.

But could it be because Uncle Howdy is yet to be joined by another superstar in his faction? Well, that seems to be the case. It seems like WWE’s latest tweet might’ve revealed a new stablemate for the sinister superstar.

In a recent Twitter post by the WWE, Uncle Howdy can be seen in the middle of the woods, as the caption reads, “signs and wonders.” While this may seem very random to many, the WWE might’ve dropped a major hint at a new member joining the Howdy’s Wyatt 6. How? Well, the woods shown in the post also feature a lake. And not just any lake; it was ‘The Lake of Reincarnation.’ The Lake of Reincarnation is a lake from the Broken Matt Hardy lore. And it features magical powers that make a superstar go back to his former gimmick once he takes a dip in the waters of this sacred waterbody. So could it be another hint at Matt Hardy joining the sinister faction?

It is worth noting that Hardy has been linked with Uncle Howdy for a long time now. The ‘Broken One’ has earlier tweeted several posts on his social media that directly link him to the faction. There’s also the major fact that Matt Hardy decided not to renew his contract with All Elite Wrestling. But while Hardy is still working with TNA, he has claimed that he is still a free agent. But he did bring back his Broken gimmick. So why hasn’t he appeared in the WWE yet? Well, it could be because he is waiting for Jeff Hardy to join him as well. Jeff Hardy’s contract with AEW expires in June. And Matt Hardy has stated that he wishes to retire with his brother by his side.

Matt Hardy wants to retire wrestling with his brother

Matt is undoubtedly a true icon of the discipline. The wrestler has been able to gain maximum popularity thanks to his experience in WWE, which has seen him first excel in a team with his brother as the Hardy Boyz. The eldest of the Hardys has also had the opportunity to wrestle in other important promotions, such as AEW and TNA. And now he might be looking back toward a WWE return. Matt Hardy’s career has been in its final stages for a while now. The wrestler still has some of his talent and experience to give. And no doubt this latest run in TNA could bring joy to the fans. However, retirement is a thought that even Matt himself struggles to dispel. As a guest on the ComicBook, the wrestler told how he would like to retire by teaming up with his beloved brother Jeff.

“It is very important to us to finish how we started. We started as two brothers on this journey. Our goal was to win the tag team titles of the world one time, and obviously we did that many times over. We do want to end that way. We’ve talked and we’re both very aware of that. We want to end our careers together as a team.” So maybe the elder Hardy wants to be joined by his younger brother before he joins hands with Uncle Howdy for a possible final run as an active wrestler. What do you think? Will Matt Hardy be a part of Howdy’s Wyatt 6? Let us know in the comments.
