Matt Hardy Sends Thoughts and Prayers for the Victims of a Catastrophe Which Will ‘Negatively’ Affect Thousands of Americans

Former WWE superstar Matt Hardy is one of the most popular wrestlers of all time. He rose to prominence during the late 90s and early 2000s, when he paired up with his brother Jeff Hardy, and dominated the tag team division of that era as part of The Hardy Boyz.

However, he would later move on from WWE, though he would again make a comeback to the company. Unfortunately, a few years later, he would again leave WWE and join their rival promotion, AEW. Away from the ring, Hardy remains a popular public figure known for speaking on several public issues.

Recently, after the East Palestine, Ohio derailment incident, the decorated tag team star took to Twitter and voiced his opinions on the situation and criticized those in power.

Matt Hardy looked dejected by the entire incident and sent out his condolences to the victims. The derailment caused hydrogen chloride and phosgene, two very toxic chemicals to escape into the air. The former ECW Champion seemed worried, and let out his concerns about the situation.

Toxic gases and chemicals released out in the open air have often proved fatal, and there are incidents to verify this claim. Hardy was aware of this, and thus he seemed extra dejected at what happened, and criticized the authorities for not doing more.

He went ahead and questioned the POTUS, Joe Biden for not acknowledging the incident, and taking proper care of it. He wrote, “This is a massive catastrophe that will negatively affect thousands of Americans. Extremely disappointing.”

This is a major tragedy, and fans alongside Matt Hardy are now concerned about the leaks, and the people in that area.
