Matt Hardy is a veteran in the world of pro wrestling. The AEW superstar has been wrestling for almost three decades. Over these years, he has produced many memorable moments for wrestling fans to cherish. But one thing that fascinated a lot of fans was the Matt facts.

Earlier in his career, ‘Matt Facts’ got displayed on the screen during his entrance. Matt facts are nothing but certain facts about Matt Hardy. The fans have seen plenty of such ‘Matt Facts’ on the screen. And Matt Hardy also started sharing ‘Matt Facts’ on Twitter as well.

Recently, in an episode of The Drive with Josh Graham podcast, the AEW superstar talked about the backstory of ‘Matt Facts’ and also credited Kevin Dunn for the birth of ‘Matt Facts’.

Hardy said, “Once, I was sort of doing like a computer online cyber world type deal. I wanted to relate it to that. We talked about putting like a computer-like screen which was an old windows media player, what that screen was based off of and they put that little spot down there.”

Further, he explained how Kevin Dunn played a big role in bringing up ‘Matt Facts’. Hardy added, “He [Kevin Dunn] said, ‘what if we put up a little Matt fact, you know a fact about you’.” The AEW superstar revealed then they ended up doing like two ‘Matt Facts’ per entrance.

Matt Hardy shared another ‘Matt Fact’ recently

During the episode, the former WWE superstar also revealed that he used to submit three or four ‘Matt Facts’ every time, but only two used to get selected. Thus, there are still a lot of ‘Matt Facts’ that people have not heard.

The ‘Matt Fact’ that he shared was ‘Matt absolutely adores spicy mayo’. Recently, he also revealed ‘Matt Facts’ on Twitter involving his brother, Jeff Hardy.

Following Jeff Hardy’s release from WWE, there have been rumors about Jeff joining Matt Hardy in AEW. Recently, in an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, Matt Hardy revealed whom he would like to face if the Hardy Boyz ever reform in AEW in the future.
