The contract that Matt Hardy signed with Tony Khan is coming off to a close reportedly in March. So, he would be free to return to WWE at WrestleMania 40. There have been speculations regarding the same. And now, it appears that the algorithm on social media has also started to play with the fanbase.
Ice Cube’s son recently quoted a WWE post that he came across from long ago. O’Shea Jackson Jr. tweeted, “Idk what’s happening. But I’m here for it. When was Twitter invented again? Is this their first tweet? What’s happening?”

The tweet that he quoted was from 2008. The promotion wrote on the social media website, “Jeff Hardy defies the odds.” Since this post was more than a decade and a half old, fans were wondering why it was resurfacing on their feeds.

So, much like the rest of the fanbase, Jackson Jr. was confused and took it as a sign that the Hardy Boyz might be returning to their former workplace soon.
Even the older brother out of the two didn’t hesitate in teasing a potential WWE return to the fans. After the details of Hardy’s contract went viral, fans were worried that they might not see him wrestle again once his deal with Tony Khan was over. Since the wrestling world was already dealing with Sting’s retirement, they didn’t want to see the Hardy Boyz retire too.
When a fan asked him about the same online, Matt Hardy came to the rescue and replied that this was not the end of his wrestling journey. While the 49-year-old didn’t speak for his brother, there are reports that Jeff is also trying to get an early escape from his contract to join his brother in WWE.
