Matt Cardona is proving to be an irksome heel, and he knows it. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion won the GCW Championship against Nick Gage and has not stopped working the GCW fans. This time, Cardona debuted a new design for the company’s championship, and it is a spinner belt, an homage to John Cena.

One of Cardona’s ways to annoy the GCW fans is to do things related to the WWE into the promotion, which prompted him to change the GCW title into the GCW “Universal” Championship.

Cardona took to Twitter and showed off his new belt, with a caption saying, your time is up… MY time is NOW!”. Using the famous catchphrase of the 16 time-World Champion John Cena.

Cardona loves toying with hardcore GCW fanbase because they hate every callback to WWE. So in order to annoy them more, Cardona once wrestled an entire match dressed like the WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

This spinner belt concept was first introduced by WWE legend, John Cena, back in 2005 when he was the WWE Champion. This change in the traditional title did wonders for the WWE’s marketing team.
