A relaxing update about Roxanne Perez’s health revealed

The NXT star suffered a lot of physical attacks during the highly eventful match. Finally, she collapsed after Satomura raised her hand as a sign of respect for the victory. The footage revealed the visual of the injured star being carried by a stretcher. The entire WWE Universe was left panicked over her condition. Fans have been wholeheartedly praying for her well-being. The situation turned much worse after the google page started displaying her status as ‘deceased’.

Much to the fans’ comfort, the horrific incident was an injury angle to highlight her undying dedication to keeping the gold intact on her waist. Still, a recent update from the company’s official Twitter handle gave further affirmation to the fans about her recovery. The tweet says, ‘Roxanne Perez has been discharged from the hospital and is now at home resting.’

This type of angle might seem a stretch to fans, but it is not new, nevertheless.

Shawn Michaels underwent a similar situation

Veteran star Shawn Michaels, who was one of those who was present when the mishap took place, faced a similar kind of situation in his career back in the mid-’90s. Michaels fell on the ground after a bout against Owen Hart during the November 20, 1995 episode of Monday Night Raw.

While most of the fans hailed it as a horror injury at first, it later proved to be nothing but an angle to offer him ample time to heal from his ongoing real-life injuries.
