Per that schedule, Johnson is teaming up with Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot again to shoot multiple sequels of their 2021 Netflix movie “Red Notice”. It streamed globally on the digital platform and almost immediately became the number one movie watched on Netflix globally.

There was a rumor that The Rock would come back to WWE at WrestleMania 39 against Roman Reigns. One of the reasons for this was that WrestleMania 39 (April 2nd, 2023) is when WWE goes Hollywood. It would have been the perfect way to bring back The Rock and many believe Roman Reigns is the best person against whom he should return.

On the other hand, Johnson will probably be busy with his Hollywood schedule for Red Notice sequels, as the predicted shooting schedule goes on well into 2023!

If this is the case and the schedules clash, there is a higher chance Dwayne Johnson will choose the Hollywood schedule over a WWE return.

The Great One has already revealed he cannot commit to a long-term WWE return. He cannot put his other schedules on hold the way John Cena did when he returned at Money in the Bank 2021.

However, ‘The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment’ does believe he can return for one last match, as long as it makes sense. While it seems it will not be at WrestleMania 39, he could still make an appearance during the PPV.
