The journey of Mandy Rose in WWE was no less than incredible. She has been part of its different brands, however, she returned to the brand where she made her debut, NXT in July 2021. Soon, the star made a place for herself on the show and even created a faction, along with Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin. The leader of Toxic Attraction then dominated the brand by winning the NXT Women’s Championship. Even though Dolin and Jayne got to hold the NXT Women’s Tag Team Title, Rose’s charisma overshadowed them.

Since the ‘God’s Greatest Creation’ got fired from the promotion, it gave way to her stablemates to rise on their own. While Rose is spending lavishly after becoming a self-made millionaire in 2022, her close friend Jayne feels more empowered after her exit. It might sound strange, but that’s what the two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion said recently.

During her appearance on Busted Open Radio, Jayne opened up about her true feelings about Rose’s exit from WWE. The NXT star could have easily expressed her sadness on the matter, but she chose to answer it with all honesty. And to everyone’s surprise, she detailed the situation through her perspective, while admitting that her close friend’s release from the roster helped her to blossom.

She said, “Yeah, I think recently, I’ve been starting to get more credit for everything, especially, honestly, after Mandy left. As sad as that whole situation was, and we tried to make the most of it going forward.

The 26-year-old star added, “I feel like that helped me break out of this Toxic Attraction shell. Now, people were paying attention to me more and listening to what I had to say,”.

Jacy Jayne’s new career phase

In the podcast, Jacy was asked to reflect on the new phase of her career as a singles star. To this, she replied, “Crazy, really surreal.” Further, the Florida-born wrestler termed herself as the ‘third-wheel’ in Toxic Attraction and that her stablemates had always overshadowed her. Be it the ‘Golden Goddess’ who has always been the talk of the town or Dolin, who made a name in the indies before she came to NXT.
