The latest occurrences in WWE saw Lacey Evans leave the promotion after running out of her contract. Evans had been blowing hot and cold in WWE with many stop-start pushes. However, the end of her WWE contract also meant the start of something big. Following in similar footsteps of Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, Evans opened her own successful venture.

What immediate success did Lacey Evans bag after moving past her WWE contract?

The Sassy Southern Belle is a woman of many talents. Prior to her career in WWE, Evans had served in the US Marines and has a few medals to her name. Post which, she moved on to have a career in pro wrestling. She joined WWE’s NXT brand in 2016 and stayed there till 2019 before being called up to the main roster.

On the main roster she had a feud with Becky Lynch for the Women’s title but came up short. Evans’ run in WWE was plagued with frequent gimmick changes which ultimately failed to get her over with the crowd. Now, however, after being done with WWE, Evans went out and followed the footsteps of her former colleagues, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville. While the two best friends operate a donut shop in New York and Los Angeles. Evans opened her very own cafe.

She took to her Instagram profile to update the fans about her new venture, and as per the pictures it bagged immediate success. The 33-year-old opened her own cafe named, “Sunny Summers Cafe”, and people flocked in around the new venture.

 

Pictures showed Evans promoting her new business, the menu, interiors, food items, and crowd gathering near the business. She wrote, “Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.”

As she stepped foot into a new territory, several former colleagues gathered to wish her all the best.

As Evans uploaded the pictures of her new venture, several current and former WWE superstars and personalities appeared on her thread to congratulate her. Even donut shop owner Mandy Rose would pop in to wish Evans all the very best for her cafe.

Lacey Evans is entering a new venture of her life in unknown territories, and although it began on a high note, it does not guarantee success. The former WWE superstar has to run her business well, and tend the customers to create a successful venture.

The former Marine’s new venture will work toward the betterment of society. Evans had previously stated, “I want to focus on helping my community to fight against addiction and fight on the mental health side to normalize mental health issues.” 

Her new cafe will focus on mental health and looks forward to battling addiction issues. Although her career with WWE came to an end, it certainly gave rise to something better for society.
