Rhea Ripley has been in a dominant position in the women’s division of WWE for several months now. The Women’s Champion believes that there is no match for her. However, one WWE legend thinks otherwise. This clash of opinions forced the former Divas Champion, Mickie James, to challenge The Eradicator for a match.
This seems like a far-fetched idea at first. But when you get to know that James’ tenure in ‘Impact’ has concluded, her threat seems meaningful. Could Ripley’s title be under the radar of the newly turned free agent?

Rhea Ripley should watch out for “The Mother”
Mami has undoubtedly proven herself worthy of being the champion on various occasions. Despite her status, Mickie James believes she needs some humbling at the hands of a WWE legend.
Getting tired of seeing Ripley and her gang torment everybody in the division, James decided to send out an open warning to everyone. When she recently appeared on the podcast Gabby AF, James announced that she would like to face Ripley soon. “Rhea. You know why? Because I’ve never faced her. I never had a chance to wrestle her. I think Mami needs to take on The Mother,” said the former WWE star.
Neither WWE nor the wrestler herself has confirmed any sort of deal together. But we cannot ignore her challenge, especially as it might be something that the WWE might want to cash in on.

The current scenario between WWE’s parent company and TNA is building up in a way that would make this feud even more favorable for Mickie James as an indie wrestler.

What are the odds of Rhea Ripley facing Mickie James?
Recent reports pointed toward a surprising partnership between WWE’s parent company Endeavor and TNA. WME partnered with WWE’s competitor to distribute a premium on-demand subscription for TNA+. With this deal in view, the Stamford-based company could have a few crossovers from Impact.
If this ‘forbidden door’ is opened, Mickie James can stay an indie wrestler and benefit from both these promotions, as the transition could be much smoother.

Considering her ‘free agent’ status, WWE wouldn’t have to offer a long-term contract if they don’t wish to do so; making her feud with Mami even smoother.
