As The Great One subtly announced his intentions to face The Head of The Table Roman Reigns, fans speculated a main event match at WrestleMania. However, there are two major PLEs ahead of WrestleMania, i.e. Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber.

Bischoff said that WWE should pit The Rock against Roman at Elimination Chamber. He said, “So, I think where I’d like to see Rock, Roman is in Perth.” WWE will host its Elimination Chamber PLE at Optus Stadium, Perth, Australia on 24th February.

Bischoff further explained the rationale behind his selection. He said, “And certainly, with Rock there in Perth, it sets a stage for future international growth and I think that’s, I’m guessing, a big part of the strategy.” As per Bischoff, The Rock’s appearance at EC would boost the stakes for the PLE and help WWE’s business globally.

Eric Bischoff shares his vision of WrestleMania involving Dwayne Johnson

As per WWE’s Road to WrestleMania theme, a superstar is eligible to challenge for the WWE World Championship by two means. Either by winning the Royal Rumble or by winning the Elimination Chamber match. Since WWE may have plans for CM Punk at Rumble, The Rock may appear at EC.

Bischoff further explained his vision for WrestleMania including The Rock. He said, “I’d like to see Roman beat Rock because it makes the most sense to me and then set up a monster of a pay-per-view with Cody and Roman for the WrestleMania.
