Paul Michael Levesque, better known by the ring name Triple H, has been with WWE for over 30 years now. He won a number of championships in his career, being a five-time Intercontinental Champion, a three-time world tag team champion, a two-time European Champion, and a fourteen-time world champion. The Game is currently serving as the creative head of WWE.

The management position of Triple H has cost him his friendship. There was a time when Triple H and the nature boy, Ric Flair, were close friends. But due to the argument over the trademark ‘The Man’, they had a fallout in their relationship. It was not only due to Triple H, but McMahon was also a part of it, as he was the chairperson and CEO of WWE at that time.

While speaking on the To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair opened up about Triple H. “We had a big falling out over the trademark ‘The Man’ issue, a big falling out.” said Flair “I’d be very surprised if I wasn’t in the top 5 people who reached out to Stephanie when he got sick. Certainly, as soon as I became aware of it, I called her and I called him.” (H/T SEScoops)

Ric Flair referred to the incident when Triple H had a cardiac arrest and how he was one of the first people to contact Stephanie McMahon to get an update on Triple H. The Game was also there for Flair when his son Reid Flair passed away due to a drug overdose. It’s clear that they had arguments over the business, but there is no long-lasting beef between them. Ric indicated that both men still care for each other.

Flair’s expectations from Triple H as a Creative Head

WWE programming has been getting better reviews from fans on social media over the past few weeks. Flair discussed the recent changes that Triple H introduced in WWE.

Flair believes in the vision of Triple H for the company. He thinks he has the ability to take WWE to new heights. “I don’t think he’s crazy about the part-time performers. […] He (Triple H) worked every day until the day he got more involved in the office.” said Flair.
