WWE has found Kevin Dunn’s replacement?
According to reports by PW Insider, the company had organized a talent meeting to acknowledge Dunn’s work before the shoot of the Raw Day 1 episode. It was stated that a name was dropped on multiple occasions during the meeting and is said to be at the front to fill in Dunn’s shoes. The name is Chris Kaiser. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Television at WWE. According to reports, he had been the primary decision-maker and Dunn provided the approval for the decisions.

Dunn is said to be the last henchman of Vince McMahon at WWE. He is considered an influential person when it comes to shaping WWE as fans know it today. During the meeting, Khan mentioned that Dunn had led WWE with strength and that the company would follow the same lead.
The news of his departure was shared by Nick Khan, current CEO of WWE in an official e-mail in the early hours of January 1, 2024. In the email he had mentioned how he had impacted WWE and how the news will be addressed to both the media and the talents at the company.
While Dunn might have received a ceremonious farewell, his departure was triggered by a major event that happened a few months ago.

As many might be familiar now, Dunn is someone who has been with WWE way before the company ventured into WrestleMania. It is also stated that he was the pioneer behind the first WrestleMania which had Hulk Hogan and a few other veterans at the main event. For over four decades, he has always reported to just McMahon and no one else.

However, it is rumored that the recent UFC merger might have triggered him to leave the promotion. Apart from that, WWE has witnessed a change in authority since 2022, when Vince McMahon had to step down for a brief period. Since the merger, McMahon has lost most of the authoritative power over WWE and hence the majority of decision-making comes under the TKO Group. Apart from that, the two share a bond since they have worked together for ages. This might be another reason as McMahon barely visits the offices due to his health conditions.
