However, several superstars have undergone injuries while competing. While some resulted in finished careers, while several others made their comeback after suffering such gruesome injuries.

WWE Superstars such as Paige, Edge, and Daniel Bryan all had to retire because of injuries. However, all of them made their comeback as well.

During a recent live event, AJ Styles suffered an injury. Although there was some confusion regarding Styles’ authenticity about the injury, recent reports have claimed that the injury is real, and AJ Styles has indeed suffered the injury.

The live event occurred at Hershey, Pennsylvania, and reports from PWInsider state that the injury scare is real, and is not any part of a storyline. Reports also state how the Styles’ suffered an injury to his ankle. The seriousness of the injury is yet to be found out, and the injury is to be checked soon.

Styles fell on his left ankle after performing a top rope dive to the outside. After the match, he had troubles putting weight over his left foot. He was later helped to go backstage by officials, Anderson and Gallows. Footage also found the referee throwing up the X symbol, signaling a real injury.

Styles was involved in a match against The Judgement Day while he teamed up with the OC. After the injury, the match had to stop in between.

What is next for AJ Styles on The Road to WrestleMania?

It is yet to be known the seriousness of the injury that Styles incurred. And based on it, AJ Styles’ road to WrestleMania can be figured out. The Phenomenal One is currently involved in a feud against The Judgement Day, after he refused to join Balor and his stable.

He was supposed to be involved in a match against Seth Rollins tonight, however, it might change based on the injury he underwent. Neither AJ Styles nor any member of the OC have made any comment on the injury.

Official statements are yet to come out after tests are done and reports are revealed. Till now, the only PWInsider has confirmed the injury.
