WWE Raw: September 20th, 2021 will feature a six-man tag team match between The New Day and The Bloodline. This means that Universal Champion Roman Reigns is heading to Raw after over a year.
WWE Champion Big E, a SmackDown Superstar, cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Raw and pinned former champion Bobby Lashley. However, he appeared on SmackDown with the belt and took on The Usos with Finn Balor in a tag team match. After defeating SmackDown tag team champions, The Usos, in a non-title match, everything went up a level.
Some chatter I heard over the weekend included how important tonight’s RAW number is. Draft plans aside, w/ their biggest full time star in Roman Reigns being advertised to work tonight’s RAW, a bigger # than normal would open the box to showcasing main superstars on both brands.

WWE confirmed the huge six-man tag team match, which will have both WWE Champion Big E and Universal Champion Roman Reigns. This could be one of the biggest shows for WWE Raw in recent times.
Roman Reigns could be the reason for WWE Raw increased ratings
Following WWE Raw: September 20th, 2021, if the ratings for the red brand soar, Roman Reigns could take credit for the same.
In the end, Roman Reigns is the biggest full time star WWE has. Since his heel turn, he’s been unstoppable. In fact, he went up against WWE Megastar John Cena and retained the Universal Championship title.
Currently, he’s in a feud with Finn Balor and Brock Lesnar has already placed a target on his back. While The Tribal Chief can’t catch a breath, he’s enjoying being at the very top of the roster.
So, with the biggest Superstar coming to Raw, and WWE announcing it beforehand, there’s bound to be a spike in ratings. But, why is the company suddenly making changes to WWE Raw?

Apparently, AEW Dynamite’s ratings have picked up pace. So much so that it surpassed that of WWE Raw.
This left WWE with a handful of options. One of them is brand crossovers. If it works, the wildcard rule could return. Not only that, a brand split could be in the cards as well.
