Major ‘Accident’ on WWE RAW Leaves Sami Zayn’s Fans Disappointed

Accidents are common in WWE and often wrestlers get injured during the match. However, this time no wrestler was hurt. Instead, fans were disappointed with a major botch concerning Sami Zayn. This week on Raw, Zayn and Kevin Owens confronted Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso after their title win at Fastlane.

The botch took place as he and his tag team partner made their entrance from backstage. This left many fans in the WWE Universe disappointed, and they vented out their frustration on Twitter.

WWE makes an enormous blunder at Raw

As Michael Cole was questing Rhodes in the middle of the ring, Zayn made his entrance alongside Owens. His music played and his usual entrance hit the speakers. A few moments later, the track got changed to his old theme music. Everyone was shocked as to what was happening and were scratching their head trying to figure out an answer.

WWE never does anything without a purpose. There is always some ulterior motive behind every move. However, this was a pure accident. WWE insider BWE confirmed this news on their private X account. In addition, by the looks on Zayn’s face, it was clear that even he was not aware of it as it was not a planned act.

Despite the botch, he carried the segment well. As many fans didn’t know that it was just an accident they started speculating that Zayn had turned heel, thus his old theme song.

Zayn was a heel during his stint with The Bloodline which many fans didn’t appreciate. Therefore, when his old music hit, fans were afraid that he might have turned heel. At the moment, it was believable, as Rhodes and Uso had just won the tag team championships, thus severing their friendship with Zayn and Owens.

Some fans are furious at WWE for making the big mistake.

Well, for those who didn’t tune into this week’s Monday Night Raw, you can relax as Zayn didn’t turn heel. Instead, he congratulated the new champs on their victory. But he also asked them for a match for their newly won titles as they believe it was stolen from him and his tag team partner by The Judgment Day.

The fans saw Zayn and Owens losing and Rhodes and Uso retaining their titles at Raw. WWE surely made lots of hearts beat faster with surprise. Perhaps, this kind of mistake won’t happen next time, as the promotion clearly doesn’t want to disappoint the fans.
