‘Mafia Boss of the Locker Room’: Ex-WWE Star Recalls Backstage Confrontation With the Undertaker

There’s no doubt that the WWE Hall of Famer, The Undertaker, has been a role model for many young WWE superstars. However, when we look at the professional career of The Undertaker, he has been in the business for over three decades.

However, Taker’s intimidation around the WWE locker room has helped young wrestlers pay their dues toward him. Ex-WWE star, Paul London, recalled an incident of The Undertaker being impressed by him.

While speaking on Cafe De Renee, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Paul London shared an instance of being ridiculed by Bubba Ray Dudley. Since Paul London and his fellow wrestler Rene Dupree went for a stroll on the beach, Bubba Ray Dudley mocked him.

Ex-WWE star said, “I remember The Undertaker was out there stretching. And he was like, ‘You did real good in there.’ I was like, ‘What that?‘ He was like, You didn’t sell it, you held your ground, that was real good.”

When Bubba Dudley tried to ridicule the former WWE superstar, he was trying to get heat from him. However, the former Cruiserweight Champion downplayed his comments that irritated the fly out of Dudley.

Paul London recollects an insane imagination of the WWE Hall of Famer The Phenom!

The Deadman well received the impervious move by Paul London of ignoring Bubba Ray Dudley’s derisive remark. Also, WWE Hall of Famer, The Undertaker, praised Paul London for not reacting to Dudley’s comments and handling it like a professional.

He added, “To me, it’s a compliment. Whenever you get complimented by real genuine legendary guys. Say what you will about The Undertaker; he was kind of the mafia boss of the locker room.”

For Paul London, ‘The Phenom’ was like a mentor. In addition, London expressed that receiving praise from a genuine legend like The Undertaker is an honest compliment. The Undertaker’s appreciation astonished the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion.
