Not only did he make the suit look as real as possible, but he also kept the aesthetic perfect for a comic fan. His main goal with this was to bring back people who were either bored by Marvel or disappointed in DCEU after the Justice League. If the views on YouTube is anything to go by, this movie is sure to fill that gap in people’s hearts.
Dwayne Johnson revealed his reasoning behind discarding padding from superhero suits
In an interview where he was promoting Jungle Cruise, the interviewer asked The Rock about the Black Adam suit. She said that Johnson had rejected the first one and done something orthodox with the Black Adam suit. Dwayne Johnson replied, “Well, I wanted to come in the best shape of my life and I wanted to raise the bar.”
He continued telling us about the first suit. He said, “When we first tried on the first costume that they had made for me was padded. Like all the superhero costumes are padded. But when you have padded it takes away from your real body. So all this (indicating to his body) went away and all this padding made it look fake. So we removed all the padding and redesigned the costume.”

The reveal teaser for the movie as well as the trailer was received very positively by the public. The fans loved it because it looked like Johnson had taken out the characters from the comics themselves. It wasn’t just his costume that was perfect; it was all of them and there are more than five superheroes in the movie that we see in the trailer.
