Macaulay Culkin confesses he wrote a character for wrestling
Culkin recently appeared on the latest episode of ‘Wrestling With Freddie‘, where he confessed that he had written some characters for wrestlers and if it was up to him, he would incorporate them into today’s wrestling landscape.
He wrote a character called The Librarian. The wrestler would have a gimmick that would incorporate all the mannerisms of a librarian. Culkin also stated that he would use his wrestling knowledge to overturn his losses on some technicalities.
“I’d love to see somebody just always shushing the audience. Every time he loses because he’s so well-schooled because he’s already read all the rules all the books on wrestling. He always can get his losses overturned because of some kind of technicality,” he said.
These types of gimmicks were extremely popular during the Attitude Era and in the early 2000s. It seemed like WWE chairman Vince McMahon was obsessed with having wrestlers with gimmicks related to jobs.

Vince McMahon incorporated this decades ago
Just like Bray Wyatt’s father, who worked in WWE in the 90s. His in-ring name was IRS, and his gimmick was one who collects and makes the WWE Universe give their taxes to the US government.

Coming up with these kinds of ideas shows Culkin has a knack for writing and he understands the pro-wrestling industry and knows what might work with the general public.
During the interview, Culkin also noted that these gimmicks were majorly popular in the Attitude Era because of the kayfabe. Now, with these modern fans, things might get tricky.

However, he ensured that his ‘Librarian’ character might do well with the WWE Universe. A recent example is the character of Damien Sandow, a comedy character who was a kayfabe stunt double for The Miz in movies.
