John Cena is one of the biggest WWE stars ever. Over the years, he has earned respect for himself from his peers and other greats of the industry.

However, Cena was not always a pro wrestler. Before joining pro wrestling, Cena was a competitive bodybuilder. However, his lack of success in that career compelled him to switch paths.

His rise to success in pro wrestling came quickly compared to his bodybuilding past. After a successive string of quality performances, Cena was given a major push. And soon, Cena rose to new rankings, and became a major star. His rise in WWE was well-deserved, and he soon became a major star.

John Cena has always been a wrestling fan. Ever since childhood, he loved wrestling and had the wrestling environment in his household as well. A few years ago, he would visit Conan O’Brien, and discuss his childhood, and how it was growing up with a wrestling fan as a father, his mother and brothers.

Speaking with Conor, Cena revealed an incident, where he stated how the brothers once almost killed each before their mother stopped them with a wrestling move. The 45-year-old stated that they had a wrestling ring downstairs, and brothers would often bolt downstairs to have a fight,

He said, “my mother was a saint. Ma, if you are watching, I love you and I’m sorry. One of the matches was for the ultimate penultimate Champion of the Universe, and it actually got into a heated battle. And, we’re in the basement, and its where all the tools are. One of my brother grabs a sledgehammer, the other grabs a chainsaw. ”  He revealed that all of them had a weapon, and Cena himself had a kitchen knife.

Cena further revealed that as they bolted upstairs with all of their weapons, their mother saw them. And she stopped all of them with just one clothesline. Their mother stopping them with a clothesline proved the genetics and roots behind Cena’s rise as a wrestler.

Backstage reports come to light after John Cena’s only wrestling match in 2022

The 16-times World Champion John Cena returned at the final SmackDown of 2022 and helped Kevin Owens in his fight against Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. The match saw Cena and Owens coming out victorious of the match.

However, reports state that every spot in the match was very well-executed. And, Cena was protected as much as WWE could, due to his absence from the ring for such a long time.

The ending of the match saw Cena execute an attitude adjustment on Reigns, while Zayn took the stunner from Owens before being pinned.

John Cena is still expected to work at WrestleMania 39 in April, however, nothing is confirmed as of yet.
