 The watch was launched just a few days before the Singapore Grand Prix. The event was on September 17th, which started in the evening and went on till late evening. With this watch, the company pays homage to the love of racing through the streets at night. They also pay tribute to the vintage streets of Monaco, a sovereign country in Europe. According to the company, this timepiece is not reserved for F1 fans or Grand Prix fans, it is for everyone who loves the thrill of a night drive.

The company had made a limited of 600 pieces of this line of watches, each costing 9,300 CHF or 10,357.79 USD. Being a limited edition, the Hollywood star made sure he secured a piece of this watch. However, this is not the first time we see him sporting a limited edition TAG Heuer.

Johnson’s love for Monaco

Earlier this year, the 51-year-old star was spotted wearing a TAG Heuer Monaco. This is different from the latest After Dark edition. This watch was worn by Steve McQueen in the iconic 1969 race film ‘Le Mans’. Since then, this watch has been synonymous with speed, cars, and luxury. 

He has been seen wearing other luxury watches as well. He was once spotted wearing an IWC Big Pilot.
