The RAW after WrestleMania is almost as big a show as a Premium Live Event. It is a show where new feuds start, NXT call ups happen, and future superstars debut. The RAW after WrestleMania is becoming a tradition. WWE is now planning a new show after Stone Cold’s Stunner.

Back in the 80s and early 90s, WWE ran a show on the weekends named Saturday Night Main Event. They again brought it back for a few episodes from 2006 to 2008. It was a major show back in the day in WWE.

Recently, there were rumors about how WWE is again reviving the Saturday Night Main Event show post-WrestleMania 38. The rumors were true when tickets for two Saturdays were on sale for the Saturday Night Main Event show. The Live events are again starting after WrestleMania 38.

That was for Saturdays, however, WWE is also planning to have live shows on Sundays. The shows on Sunday are to be named after Stone Cold Steve Austin’s finisher, “The Stunner”.

Wrestling Observer Figure Four Online confirmed the news on their website. The Sunday live show is going to be named as “Sunday Stunner”. We expect this Sunday Live show to start in May. WWE hasn’t formally announced the change and hasn’t responded to an inquiry for further information.

As of now, only Ticketmaster and the EagleBank Arena website has advertised the rebranding for Sunday May 1st in Fairfax, Virginia, as the first show to be rebranded while two other Sunday post-Mania shows (Syracuse, New York, and Binghamton, New York) have yet to be changed.

WWE Trademarked the name Sunday Stunner

With the rebranding of the Black and Gold NXT to NXT 2.0, WWE has unique plans going ahead in 2022. Since the pandemic, WWE has not done many live events and tours.

Recently it was noted that WWE is reviving its Saturday Night Main Event show post WrestleMania 38. Not only that, WWE also filed the trademark for the name Sunday Stunner for Sunday Live events. As of now, both of the new branding will be for non-televised live events.

WWE is branding their Live shows now. The alternative names for weekly shows will be a great instead just calling those shows as LIVE events.
