The biggest wrestling show of the year, WrestleMania, has arrived. Night 1 of WrestleMania 40 took place at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field. The card was packed with excitement.

In the main event of night one, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson competed fully in WWE for the first time since 2016, teaming with his ‘cousin’ Roman Reigns to defeat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Despite incurring a monumental win, there’s some bad news to keep a watchful eye on as The Brahma Bull suffered an injury. The Hollywood star provided an update on his injury concern after the Show of Shows ended.

However, it appears that The Final Boss sustained an injury while fighting against Rhodes and Rollins. After the event, during the Saturday post-press conference show, Johnson faced questions about his injury and well-being. The Great One replied, “I feel great, body feels great, I just had the time of my life and I put in a lot of work, we had a hell of a training camp which lasted probably about 10-12 weeks and I wanted to make sure that I was as prepared as I possibly could be. These guys who I wrestled with tonight, as you guys know, they’re the best in the world and on the planet and I wanted to make sure that I came in game ready and ring ready as best I can.”

The Rock knew what he was getting into and was ready to take down anything that came in front of him to win the belt.

Finally, by ending on a positive note, he mentioned how lucky he felt to participate in a wrestling event. Johnson also stated much he enjoyed every moment of it. The organizers promoted the highly anticipated main event as WrestleMania’s grandest tag team match. Tonight marked the second consecutive WrestleMania to feature a tag team match as the headliner on Night 1.
