Considering several standards, AEW ‘All In’ can be called a successful event for the promotion. Not only was it record-breaking for the company itself, but Tony Khan even left behind WWE’s attendance record for WrestleMania 32. If that wasn’t enough of a reason to celebrate, AEW recently had a special guest who attended ‘All In’ at the Wembley Stadium this past weekend. This guest was none other than the ex-WWE wrestler Sasha Banks aka Mercedes Mone.
Although there were already rumors flying left and right about her appearance at the PPV, it wasn’t confirmed until wrestling fans caught her on their screens. When the stars and the CEO of AEW sat down for the post-show media scrum, Khan presented his views on Banks’ appearance.

After he sat down in the press conference following ‘All In’, Khan was asked several questions. One of them was about his thoughts on Banks’ appearance at the show. The CEO revealed how delighted he was to catch Mercedes Mone witnessing their biggest PPV event ever. Then, he went on to talk about some serious business regarding the same.
“There is a lot of exciting pro wrestling; I thought it would be great to have her here and see all the matches, including the AEW Women’s World Championship. But she is not cleared since her injury; I just thought it would be good to have her take in the show,” said Tony Khan to the reporters.
The 40-year-old implied that it would be ‘good’ to have Banks present in the same arena as other AEW stars. However, since she currently hasn’t been cleared from her last injury, he cannot invite her to join them as a wrestler. But Khan’s words about the same point toward his intentions to have her over at his company.
Following her appearance at the biggest PPV by AEW, speculations have already started to run wild. If in case Mercedes Mone joins WWE, let’s explore what her initial career could look like.

Even though nothing is confirmed as of now, there is a chance that Tony Khan’s wish may come true. In such a case, there are a few possible opponents that we might see Banks facing off against. Starting off with the first possibility, seeing the 31-year-old taking Saraya aka Paige would be a historical feud. Since the two wrestlers have a shared history from WWE, it would make sense to see them continue it in AEW too.
Moreover, names like Dr. Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Jade Cargill would also make sense as Mercedes Mone’s potential opponents. These names were surfacing as a speculation for Banks’ ‘All In’ debut. But now that she is more likely to make her debut at the company after the PPV, these names could serve as her first opponents.
