Hulk Hogan is widely recognized as one of the most legendary figures in professional wrestling history. He achieved tremendous success in both the WWE and WCW, capturing numerous world championships during his remarkable career.
However, early in his career, he had a strenuous relationship with his boss, Vince McMahon Sr. Although, he would come back from that and rebuild his career into one of the best careers in pro wrestling history. Throughout his career, he has had several ups and downs, but there once came a moment which he is glad he did not go ahead with.

During a podcast with Power 106 Los Angeles, Hulk Hogan revealed a traumatic moment from the early days of his career. He revealed that while working under Vince McMahon Sr. Hogan was asked to dye his hair orange for catering to the Irish Americans. But Hogan did not accept McMahon Sr’s offer and kept his golden locks.
The 69-year-old revealed that he still has dreams of that moment, and is happy he did not go ahead with that order.
Why did Hulk Hogan not dye his hair orange?
Back before Vince McMahon Jr. took over WWE, it was run by his father. Hulk Hogan always did not see eye to eye with Vince McMahon Sr. and had a cold relationship with him. McMahon Sr. had even fired Hogan from the company, after he had defied his orders and acted in Rocky 3.

Nevertheless, Hogan claimed that it was McMahon Sr.’s idea for catering to the Irish Americans, and Hogan had to color his hair orange. Speaking on the podcast, Hogan said, ” Man I have been living with that dream forever. “
When the host referred to Sheamus dying his hair orange, Hogan complimented Sheamus’ look. He said, “Hey! Sheamus is cool though! He can pull it off, I would have looked like a carrot top.” The orange porcupine hair and orange beard have become a trademark look for Sheamus, and he is widely known for it.

However, Hogan also claimed that he was already losing his hair, and he did not want to go bald by dyeing his hair with color. Wrestling fans are glad they never got to see Hogan with ginger hair, and instead, vividly remember his golden locks and blonde mustache.
