A decisive victory for Cody Rhodes, for the Undisputed WWE Championship, has just gone down in the history of modern pro-wrestling. The American Nightmare defeated Solo Sikoa in a Bloodline rules match in the main event of WWE SummerSlam, almost repeating what was seen in April at WrestleMania 40. The Bloodline which is now led by Sikoa, made several interferences to further his pursuit.
Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa ended up being neutralized by Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, while Jacob Fatu was rendered helpless after hurting his left ankle after hitting a brutal “Samoan Splash” on Rhodes onto the commentary table. Sikoa had the path open to victory and it all seemed done and dusted. However, when it came to hitting his last “Samoan Spike”, a familiar tune roared in the arena followed by a massive crowd pop as the Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns made his return. Thus confirming the surrounding rumors from weeks prior.
Upon entering the ring, Reigns immediately attacked Sikoa with a Superman Punch, followed by a Spear. An intense staredown with Cody Rhodes followed this before The Tribal Chief left the ring. The American Nightmare took advantage of the situation and applied a Cross Rhodes to clinch the win. The pro wrestling community has only had time to talk about Reigns ever since. So how could Logan Paul miss the opportunity?

In the latest episode of ImPaulsive, Logan Paul talked about Roman Reigns and his return. During this conversation, however, he also revealed the reason behind him envying the Original Tribal Chief. He said, “But what I’m getting at is, I’m envious of guys like Roman, who don’t have to risk their entire body in health and wellness, because people are so invested in the story, in the story, and it’s such a good note, that’s a veteran note, but that’s the hardest part.”
Well, the Maverick surely does take some high-flying risks when he gets into the ring. But that wasn’t enough to help him retain his United States Championship against LA Knight at SummerSlam. After a long buildup, Knight finally captured gold while the Maverick’s long title reign finally came to an end. However, Paul still has a win on his side as he managed to impress none other than The Undertaker.
