Logan Paul surprised all the fans present at Crown Jewel this year. The social media influencer, who worked as a part-timer with WWE, won the United States Championship. So, it is quite natural for fans to be in shock. For now, the big doubt remains about how would WWE make Paul appear for frequent title defenses like Rey Mysterio himself. But ‘The Maverick’ has answered this himself.

Shortly after his victory at CJ, Paul sat down in an interview with ESPN. While conversing, the interviewer asked him the very doubt about title defenses that presented itself inside every fan’s head. And Paul’s answer sounded like good news for his fans in WWE.

Is Logan Paul switching over to a full-time wrestling job?

Apart from being a social media influencer, Paul is well-known around the globe for his boxing career as well. So, when the YouTuber appeared in WWE for the first time, everybody realized it was going to be a ‘part-time’ thing for him. However, things might be taking a turn after his title victory.

As soon as he bagged the United States Championship, Logan Paul got on an exclusive interview with ESPN. He was asked several questions, including the doubt about how he is planning to defend his title effectively.

Paul confirmed that he would be around more often by saying, “I think I have to. You’re gonna have to watch RAW, you’re gonna have to watch SmackDown. I’m gonna make some surprise appearances.”

Even though he hasn’t confirmed switching to full time, we can definitely expect Paul’s appearance more often as WWE likes their champions to be available for frequent matches.

Even though he is now the US Champion for the promotion, some fans may not be happy with the way he won the title. This is because Paul won the championship in the old ‘crooked’ style.

The 28-year-old secured the title his own way

Ever since he arrived in the promotion, WWE didn’t make an effort to promote the influencer as a ‘face’. As a result, Paul developed a solid heel persona in the Stamford-based company. And now, we can even see him pull off unethical moves to get his desired results.

So, he resorted to crooked methods by taking the help of an outsider to provide him with brass knuckles and blow the wind out of Mysterio in a single punch. What followed was the dreadful sound of the bell after the referee completed the three count and Paul came out on top, victorious.
