The Rock’s appearance on SmackDown on February 2 practically buried the WrestleMania 39 rematch between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. In fact, the segment achieved something very rare. It united the entire pro wrestling community as they aimed to realize their dreams of seeing the Rhodes vs Reigns matchup for WrestleMania 40.

Since Dwayne Johnson appeared to face the “Tribal Chief,” WWE’s intentions were clear: to prefer profits over quality storytelling. Now this situation caused discontent among the fans. This became evident as the video of the segment on YouTube became WWE’s most disliked video ever. Another sign of their protest has emerged as the #WeWantCody movement. The protest has garnered traction on the internet thanks to the support of fans and even WWE superstars like Logan Paul, who has again taken to social media to show his support for Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes has been in the spotlight after news of The Rock fighting Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 came to light. Since then, fans and fellow wrestlers have shown their support to ‘The American Nightmare’. Logan Paul just uploaded a story on his Instagram to remind the WWE that he has Rhodes’ back.

However, everything indicates that it will be made official next Thursday at the press conference to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. While it may seem like a pure sign of respect from Logan Paul for Rhodes, the WWE star may be also doing this because of his personal history with the Rock.

It wasn’t until 2023 when The Rock sent him a message on Instagram as if nothing had happened. However, Logan Paul did not answer him. He still harbored ill intent after how the relationship came to its end. He enjoyed a sincere bond with The Rock before the video and the lack of communication offended him. Paul suggested that the Hollywood star should have spoken to him before resorting to drastic means. He suggested that he should have the chance to tell his side of the story.
