Courtesy of PWInsider, recent developments in the ongoing Liv Morgan drug possession case have emerged. The star was set to attend trial on January 12, 2024, at the Sumter County Courthouse. However, the date has been shifted to January 20. Ahead of her hearing, all major charges against her have been dropped. However, possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams) charge, which is considered a first-degree demeanor in the state of Florida, has not been dropped. For this, she might have to spend one year in jail or on probation along with a $1000 fine.

Morgan was arrested on December 15 in Sumter County when a patrol car pulled her over for a check. Upon inspection, marijuana was found in her yellow jeep. According to reports, she was in possession of an oil that tested positive for marijuana.
An arrest was made on the same day at 6:30 PM. However, she was bonded out at around 10:04 PM after the bond price of $3000 was paid to the department.

Since the news of her arrest came out, it has been reported that the higher-ups at WWE are said to be in constant contact with Morgan. It has been revealed that WWE is particularly happy that Morgan has been transparent about the whole situation instead of hiding things. Other reports suggest that it is very unlikely that the arrest and the charges against her might affect her 2024 return. Morgan was last seen on the July 17 episode of Raw.
