With his motto, ‘Hustle, Loyalty, Respect’, WWE Superstar John Cena has inspired a generation of pro wrestling fans. One among them is current superstar Liv Morgan. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion revealed in the past that she has a crush on Cena.
Morgan also stated that he has had a “subconscious influence” on her career. During the latest episode of SmackDown, Morgan gave a tribute to the 16x World Champion by mimicking his signature move.

The impromptu gig took place off-air while Morgan was waiting inside the ring with her tag team partner, Tegan Nox. As Cena’s picture and intro music played, Liv Morgan did the famous ‘You Can’t See Me’ move.
The Nox-Morgan duo won their match against Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.
John Cena is the deal, reckoned Liv Morgan
During her appearance on Sneaker Shopping with Complex, 2022 women’s Money in the Bank champion said she thought Cena was the real deal.
“I loved John Cena, I thought he was the s**t,” she told the host.
She also explained how Cena’s fascination for sneakers influenced her own choice.
“He has been, whether I know it or not, a subconscious influence on my career. You know, because he wore sneakers for the majority of his career, so I think maybe it’s something that kind of embedded in my mind, and maybe a reason why I like to wear sneakers,” Morgan added.
She also weighed in on the sneakers debate about who started the trend. When the host mentioned that many pro wrestlers take credit for making sneakers fashionable, Morgan said she has been wearing a pair since her first day at the WWE Performance Center.
John Cena’s signature move started as a dare
Back in 2018, John Cena revealed that his signature ‘You Can’t See Me’ move started as a dare from his brother.
Cena made the revelation during an episode on The Graham Norton Show. Appearing alongside his Bumblebee co-star Hailee Steinfeld, celebrated chef Jamie Oliver, and actor Matthew McConaughey, Cena narrated the story behind the move.
He said he had played the theme song for his brother and instead of dancing; the latter did a strange move. When quizzed, his brother said it was what everyone did.
The Cenation Leader further informed that the gesture was inspired by a 50 Cent song.
Dared that Cena won’t be able to do it on TV, he said, “What the hell am I gonna lose? Are they going to fire me? Of course, I’ll do it on TV.” However, he made a slight change, and instead of bobbing his head, he moved his hand.
