It’s been 25 years since The Rock debuted in WWE. Every time the fans saw him on stage, they really got electrified with his presence. However, there is one WWE Superstar who was barely electrified with the ‘Great One’s’ larger than life persona and promos.
Stephanie McMahon might be the daughter of WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, but that didn’t faze The Rock from destroying her time and time again on the microphone. But even Stephanie had befitting replies for the ‘People’s Champion.’
Recently, talkSPORT interviewed WWE’s Chief Brand Officer, where she talked about her relationship with The Rock. While speaking of the ‘Brahma Bull,’ Stephanie recalled the hardest slap she ever hit him.

At WrestleMania 31, Rock confronted The Authority with Ronda Rousey, where Stephanie McMahon slapped him in front of the audience. During her interview, she talked about this moment where the slap hit hard on Rock.
She said, “I have lots of fun memories on screen with The Rock. I think I slapped him the hardest I’ve ever slapped him at WrestleMania 31 at Levi’s Stadium. It was a good one, it was a good one. It felt like I laid it in [laughs]. I was almost like ‘oooh, that was a little too hard!’… But then he brought in Ronda Rousey and ultimately she broke my arm and everything so ultimately, he got back at me.”
During her talk, she also included the experience of working with The Rock with many backstage moments. Although she had many segments with him, he always had the last laugh.
#Wrestlemania 31: A crazy 24 hours. Backstage w/ @TheRock who hosted SNL, after-party, then fly cross country to San Jose while working on plane, barely sleep, then Mania. Props to @StephMcMahon for replicating the same look she’d give me when I’d randomly walk into her office. pic.twitter.com/1V8CtbA2G5

Real Reason for The Rock not making WWE appearances
Initially, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was supposed to appear on the Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday. However, it didn’t happen. The Brahma Bull was nowhere to be seen.
WWE dedicated The Survivor Series to The Rock’s 25th Anniversary and promoted his movie Red Notice. WWE made many hints during their promos with their Superstars to create the excitement for Survivor Series. Even WWE announced a dual-brand battle royal to tribute The People’s Champion.

In July, The Brahma Bull was told about his Survivor Series appearance. However, his schedule for his upcoming movies changed in September. And even if he tried for his appearance, he would be restricted because of the COVID-19 quarantine protocols.
Currently, he is shooting for his upcoming movie in Australia.
