Pat McAfee is all set to compete at WrestleMania 38. During an interview, Vince McMahon offered him a chance to wrestle at The Grandest Stage of Them All.
For weeks, there have been rumors that Vince is going to wrestle McAfee at WrestleMania 38. But Mr. McMahon will not be Pat McAfee’s opponent at WrestleMania.
Instead, it will be someone who claimed himself to be Vince McMahon’s protégé. And that person is none other than Austin Theory.

Recently, Pat McAfee took to Twitter and send a warning to his WrestleMania opponent following this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

During the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Austin Theory announced himself as McAfee’s opponent at WrestleMania 38. But the WWE Raw superstar did not stop there. He slapped the headset off Pat McAfee’s head in a disrespectful manner that left McAfee enraged.

Is Austin Theory the favorite going into this match against Pat McAfee?
No one can deny the fact that Austin Theory is a more experienced pro wrestler than Pat McAfee. But this does not mean Austin Theory is the clear favorite.
McAfee is one competitive guy. Not to forget, he is also a former football punter. He enjoys facing challenges. And this match against Austin Theory will definitely be a challenge for him.
Pat McAfee has previously competed inside the squared circle in WWE. He contested in a match against Adam Cole on WWE NXT.
Though McAfee lost the match, he impressed everyone with his performance in a match that lasted over 16 minutes. He also took part in a War Games match in 2020.

Austin Theory and Vince McMahon had several backstage segments recently. The WWE chairman has acted as a mentor for the WWE Raw superstar. But Theory is yet to impress Mr. McMahon.
However, he has now got a great opportunity to impress Vince McMahon at The Grandest Stage of Them All. But for that to happen, he needs to get the better of the former football punter.
