One of the most iconic unofficial female groups in WWE history has to be The Four Horsewomen. It included Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch. In the current landscape of WWE with Vince McMahon back at the wheel, fans think Bayley is set to leave the company. Even Charlotte Flair is planning to take on another sport altogether for the time being and her future may be up in the air. Is this the end of an era? Recently, Ric Flair addressed this issue on his show. Moreover, the WWE veteran also gave his take on Damage CTRL’s defeat against the veterans at WrestleMania 39.
Ric Flair explained how youngsters deserve a good build
In a recent episode of ‘To Be The Man’, Ric Flair spoke about the WrestleMania 39 match-up between Damage CTRL vs Trish Stratus, Lita, and Becky Lynch. The veterans ultimately got the victory, with Becky Lynch prevailing over Bayley and her team. But, ‘The Nature Boy’ wasn’t happy with it.

Even though the veterans get more respect, Flair felt that the young ones deserve a good build-up. Therefore, the 16-time world champion expressed why Damage CTRL with Io Sky and Dakota Kai deserved the victory, in that instance.
Flair said “I would have put her (Bayley) over Becky all day long. Yeah, who are you trying to build? They’re trying to build Lita and Trish? or these new young girls? Who are we building?”
Therefore, The Nature Boy chose Bayley over Becky Lynch. Moreover, the WWE icon also spoke about the possibility of Bayley leaving the company, after this humiliating defeat.
The Nature Boy heaped huge praise onto Bayley
During the same video, Ric Flair spoke about the uncertainty of Bayley’s future in the WWE. In a recent tweet, the WWE star posted a cryptic message about her love story coming to an end, after her WrestleMania 39 loss. Even though the star hasn’t spoken publicly about her future, fans are left worried about her status in the company, especially after she didn’t appear on RAW this week as part of Damage CTRL.

Ric Flair spoke about her potential exit and said “Because… If it’s true, Bayley’s not gonna stick around. They’ve lost Sasha… I don’t know.”
Therefore, Flair felt that Bayley and Co. should’ve dominated the veterans, ahead of her possible exit from the company. Flair also showed a lot of respect for the leader of Damage CTRL for her contribution to the company.
