After WWE announced the profits of their third quarter and released all the revenue data, they went on a release spree and dropped eighteen contracts and released the wrestlers.
This hasn’t been the first time WWE released wrestlers in such huge numbers. In fact, this is the second time they have done so this year alone.
While releasing eighteen wrestlers may seem like any other day in the WWE HQ, consoling messages of support poured in from other WWE superstars and wrestlers across promotions.

WWE released The Ravishing Russian in June after eight years. Her husband Miro is currently wrestling on AEW and is in a feud with Daniel Bryan.
Miro and Daniel Bryan will clash at AEW’s PPV ‘Full Gear’. There is no news on whether Lana will join AEW.
Many fans also offered words of support to the wrestlers and told them that they would stand behind them no matter what.
Throughout the whole pandemic era, WWE released multiple superstars while some also left on their own accord. The most shocking releases took place earlier in 2021, which saw Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, and Ruby Soho exit from the company.
Such releases invoke the question; is anyone safe from being released any second from WWE?

She later took to Instagram and revealed that she had to dye her hair for a project that she’s currently working on called ‘Trailblazers’. In a virtual signing, Lana revealed that WWE prohibited her from dying her hair because blonde was her signature color.
During Royal Rumble, when her hair was light brown, the former superstar was asked to tie it up so that no one noticed that the blonde wasn’t as bright as before.
