Linda McMahon Breaks Silence On Vince McMahon Retirement And Hush Money Scandal; Her Retort Will Leave Wrestling Fans Puzzled

Vince McMahon announced his retirement from WWE a few weeks ago and stepped down from his position as WWE Chairperson.

The former CEO of WWE is under investigation for allegedly paying female employees ‘hush money’ to hide their relationship. Moreover, everybody was of the question, did Linda McMahon know about the same?

Recently, a video was shared by Wrestling News on Twitter, in which Linda McMahon gave her opinion on Vince McMahon’s retirement. Moreover, the former WWE co-founder did not want to discuss Mr. McMahon and WWE, she answered a question about his retirement.

Linda McMahon said, “Yeah I’m not gonna talk about Vince and WWE. I’m here to talk about AFPI.” 

When again asked about his retirement, she said, “You know what, he’ll be deciding on how he’s gonna spend his free time. I think that’s a good thing. Thanks.”

When asked about the current investigation, Linda said she was at the event to talk about AFPI and left. The official in the video was shocked, as we can see by his reaction.

The 25th Administrator of the Small Business Administration had a valid point that Mr.McMahon will have to decide to utilize his free time for something. He had dedicated his entire life to running WWE. 

Linda McMahon co-founded Titan Sports, Inc. today known as WWE along with Vince McMahon. Moreover, she worked as the president and later CEO from 1980 to 2009. In 2009, she left WWE to run for a seat in the United States Senate. 

Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon are not living together

After the allegations floating around about Vince McMahon, there are more rumors about him. The rumors regarding Mr. McMahon and Linda McMahon are that they are no longer staying together. Dave Meltzer on his Wrestling Observer Radio shared his thoughts on this matter.

Meltzer, while commenting on Vince and Linda McMahon’s over 50-year relationship, said that if they are still married, they are no longer together. He said, “Technically they’re married. I mean, they haven’t been together in a long, long time though.” (H/T Inside the Ropes Wrestling).

The former chairperson of WWE Vince McMahon built the company as a global professional wrestling promotion. It took him time, but along with the help from his wife Linda McMahon and other WWE officials; he brought the company to the top.
