The WWE surprised everyone as they yet again released multiple superstars last month. Among the superstars released were various big names, including superstar Nia Jax. Jax’s name came across as surprising, considering she is Samoan and related to The Rock.

Following Jax’s release from the company, fans have been speculating as to where she will go next. Unfortunately, she is still under her non-compete, which forbids her from performing anywhere for 90 days. But it looks like she’s gearing up for a life post-WWE.

Many speculated that WWE let Nia Jax go because of her vaccination status, but she came out on social media to deny all accusations of such rumors. She revealed on her Instagram that when she asked for time off from WWE for her mental health; they released her.

The former WWE superstar changed all her social media handles to Lina Fanene, her real-life name. Jax’s full name is Savelina Fanene.

She took to Twitter to announce the news of the name change on her website.

Well, it seems like WWE and Nia Jax have gone their separate ways. For now, Jax has not revealed whether she’ll continue in professional wrestling or chase some other dreams of hers that she couldn’t while she was in WWE.

The Rock’s cousin Nia Jax deemed as an unsafe worker

Sadly, the fans are ruthless and did not avoid trolling Jax over the news of her name change. Under a tweet posted by @wrestlingnewsco revealing the former RAW women’s champion changed her name, a fan said this,

The fan called her so because Jax has a history of being unsafe in the ring with her opponents. Nia Jax has supposedly injured at least ten other women in the ring.

One such event happened when Jax had faced Alexa Bliss at Backlash after she won the title at WrestleMania 34. There, Bliss sustained a shoulder injury, and while no one blamed Jax for it, the damage’s timing and botch seemed coincidental.

Jax was also believed to be responsible for Bayley’s shoulder injury before SummerSlam 2017. Because of this injury, WWE did not clear Bayley to compete, and she lost her title shot.

Many also believed the infamous Stone Cold moment of Becky Lynch where she broke her nose to be Nia Jax’s fault. Jax accidentally punched her in the face during the SmackDown invasion in RAW in 2018.

There is a pattern of injuries with Nia Jax, and one can debate that she caused it. But it is not debatable whether The Rock’s cousin was involved because there are ten isolated instances of her causing harm to a fellow superstar.
