Is Triple H making a mistake by burying Dakota Kai, or is there a bigger plan at play?

As the CCO of WWE, Triple H is mostly responsible for pushing talents for different storylines and title runs. This is because he is the booker of the promotion as the Head of the Creatives and gives an idea for his writers to expand upon. While the decisions regarding the same are his, he sometimes listens to fans.

Right now, the fanbase has been demanding he start booking Dakota Kai for a storyline that has her running for the WWE Women’s Championship. A Cuban-born wrestler has given his opinion on the accusations of Triple H ‘burying’ Dakota Kai.

Paul Levesque has been accused by the Internet Wrestling Community (IWC) of not taking Dakota Kai seriously enough. This includes him booking the female talent to lose matches frequently and not letting her qualify for the MITB Women’s Ladder Match.

Konnan spoke about the fan sentiment on his podcast, Keepin’ It 100, and indirectly supported Triple H’s decision to not push Dakota Kai further. The Cuban-American wrestler said, “She [Dakota Kai] doesn’t fit in. She’s not entertaining. She hasn’t done anything to capture my attention. She even did a thing where she turned on Bayley. That never went anywhere.

He also added, “I just think she’s one of these girls that maybe they like her backstage because she’s professional. She’s on time. She’s friendly. All that. But I don’t give a f**k about any of that. If you’re not entertaining, then why are you even there? I see nothing in her.

Konnan didn’t elaborate on why Triple H is not pushing Dakota Kai. However, he seems to understand his point due to the things that he said about Kai on the podcast. Even if Hunter doesn’t think the same way, these words give us a glimpse of what may be the reason behind this.

While the Damage CTRL member is not getting a push for the title, there is someone else who could soon become the new champion.

Is Triple H booking a new women’s champion for us?

Bayley currently holds the WWE Women’s Championship on SmackDown. She has had several rivals come after her since her WrestleMania victory and has retained the title till now. However, it appears that she is not going to remain the champion for long as Nia Jax is coming after her and she is being accompanied by Miss Money in the Bank. Even if Nia Jax is not booked to come out victorious in their future potential match at SummerSlam 2024, Tiffany Stratton could end up cashing in the briefcase that she roams around with all the time.

So, even if fans wish it was not being fulfilled for the Damage CTRL store to receive a title push, Triple H is trying to make up for it by booking another rising talent for a championship. Dakota Kai might need to appear in some more storylines before she gets a shot at a championship or gets booked as fans want her to be. If not, the fan outrage on the internet could continue, as it has been up until now.
