On July 7, 2021, the former World Heavyweight Champion posted a video of him and Steve Austin in a segment. The segment also involved none other than Rob Van Dam.

In the segment, Kurt Angle was acting almost like a hype man for ‘The Texas Rattlesnake‘. Both of them were seen backstage trying to boost RVD’s morale following his loss to Edge the prior week. Although to be fair, RVD didn’t seem like he needed the pep talk.

The fans absolutely loved the throwback and remembered the excellent chemistry both men had in and outside the ring.

Kurt Angle once teamed up with The Deadman

During an episode of “The Kurt Angle Show“, Angle recalled his bizarre tag team with ‘The Phenom‘ Undertaker. He said,

“It was great. The Undertaker was awesome. You know anytime you can tag team with Undertaker you know you’re in a good spot and he’s so seasoned.“And just you know, he has so much experience, the match is more methodical when you have Undertaker in there. So it slows down a little bit more, and it tells a better story.“And even in tag matches, he’s able to produce the athletes in the ring to do better and tell a better story.

He continued and stated that if they were going too fast, Taker said

“slow down! slow down, but sell for me”. Taker allowed the opponents to take their time and didn’t rush things. Angle declared that when he tags with the Phenom, he knows he’s going to get a lot of time.

Both Angle and Taker are highly versatile wrestlers who can work with anyone and deliver a great match. This is just one of the many reasons why both men are WWE legends and Angle is even a Hall of Famer.
